Every guide on this site, including ours, tells you to order four to six weeks ahead. That advice is correct and it is useless to the person reading it five days before a mehndi. This page is for that person.
It is a working answer rather than a reassurance. Some of it is what is possible; a fair amount of it is what to stop trying. The short version: the delivery clock is slower than the word "express" suggests, the size you need probably exists in a quantity of one, and there is no recovery if it is wrong — so the decision is which silhouette forgives a guess.
The delivery arithmetic, which is slower than it sounds
Read from the shipping policy rather than estimated:
- Processing: one to two business days before anything ships.
- Standard within Canada: CAD $25, free above CAD $125, four to six business days.
- Express: CAD $29.99 flat, three to five business days.
Add the two numbers that actually apply and express lands in four to seven business days door to door, not overnight. Order on a Tuesday and the realistic window is the following Monday to Thursday. Business days also means a long weekend removes a day from the count without warning, which is how people who ordered "express" end up opening the box the morning of the function.
So the honest thresholds are these. Ten days or more: order normally, and you even have room for a hem. Six to nine days: order express today, and choose something that will fit without a tailor. Five days or fewer: shipping is no longer the answer, and the rest of this page is about the two things that are.
The constraint that decides everything: one unit per size
Occasion wear is bought in small runs. Read live from the catalogue today, a typical embroidered piece carries somewhere between four and ten units in total across XS to XL — which is one each, sometimes two in the middle sizes and none at the ends. One more worth knowing before you order rather than after: pre-draped sarees, sarees with stitched blouses, bridal wear, customised pieces and anything bought under a Buy 1 Get 1 promotion are excluded from returns entirely. In a last-minute purchase you have no recovery on any of them.

The waist is drawn or elasticated and the flare begins below the point where fit is decided, so the bottom half absorbs three to five centimetres on its own. Kurta sets — straightforward

A fitted choli and a corset bodice are decided by where the darts and boning fall relative to your own body, not by a circumference. Neither is a guess worth making with no route back, and both are the reason the lehenga and corset rails are better bought with time in hand.

Two practical notes. Bring the shoes you intend to wear, because on a floor-length piece the hem is set against a heel height and nothing else. And if a piece fits, buy it in the room — with one unit per size there is nothing to come back for the following day. Refunds are not processed at the store location, so the visit is for fitting and buying rather than returning.

If you cannot, a five-day sequence
- Tonight. Take the five measurements in the measuring guide. Ten minutes, and it is the only step that cannot be rushed later.
- Tonight, still. Shortlist from the drawn-waist silhouettes above, in stock in your size, and check the piece is not on the non-returnable list.
- Before you order. If you are between sizes on more than one dimension, message rather than guess — the contact page has the number, and it is faster than a return that does not exist.
- Order express. Not standard. The $5 difference buys one to two business days, which is the whole margin.
