Saskatoon and Regina are the two cities in this series with no reasonable drive. Hamilton can reach Brampton in an hour. Calgary at least has Calgary. From Saskatchewan, the nearest deep rail of current-season Indian occasion wear is a flight, which means the decision is not where to shop but how to order without being able to try anything on.
Most advice on that is about shipping cost. Shipping cost is the least of it. The thing that actually decides whether buying at distance works is what happens when a size is wrong, and that has a timetable nobody writes down.
What it costs delivered
Standard shipping inside Canada is CAD $25 and free above CAD $125, with express at CAD $29.99 flat. Processing takes one to two business days; standard delivery is four to six business days and express three to five. Most of the catalogue sits above $125, so for most orders the parcel arrives at no charge.
One point in Saskatchewan's favour, and it is small but real: the province charges 6% PST alongside 5% GST, so 11% on an outfit against 13% HST in Ontario. Tax is charged on the delivery address, so the same piece costs about two per cent less delivered to Saskatoon than bought over the counter in Brampton. On a $200 outfit that is four dollars. Mention it for completeness and then forget it, because the next section is worth fifty times as much.
The three-week round trip of a wrong size
Here is the sequence, read straight off the return policy, for a Saskatchewan buyer who orders a size that does not fit.
- One to two business days of processing, then four to six business days of delivery. Call it a week to ten days.
- You try it on. A return has to be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
- Once approved, the item has to be posted back within 7 days, and the return postage is yours to pay.
- It travels from Saskatchewan to the Greater Toronto Area. Several days.
- It is inspected on arrival, then 1 to 3 business days for store credit to appear in your account.
- You place a new order: processing again, delivery again.
Start to finish that is three weeks and change, with return postage out of your pocket and the original shipping charge non-refundable. And there is no shortcut, because the policy is explicit on two points. Ordering the wrong size is treated as a change of mind, which is eligible for store credit only — not a refund to your card. And there are no direct exchanges at all: a swap is a return plus a fresh order, every time.
Then the part that turns an inconvenience into a dead end. Most of this catalogue is cut in small runs at roughly one unit per size. Three weeks later, the size you actually needed may no longer exist. You will have the credit and not the outfit.
In Brampton this whole chain is twenty minutes in a fitting room. In Saskatoon it is the single fact that should govern how you buy.
So order a measurement, not a size
The practical conclusion is unglamorous and it works: stop choosing a size and start sending numbers.
The size chart page carries a standing offer that is worth more to a Saskatchewan buyer than to anyone else on this site — send your bust, waist and hip measurements along with the piece you are looking at, and we will tell you which size to take. There is a WhatsApp link on that page and the number is +1 437 473 4173. For somebody with a fitting room down the road that offer is a nicety. For somebody three provinces away it removes the only step that can cost three weeks.
Three things to know before you send them, all from the same page and the policy:
- Measure over underwear, not over clothes, with the tape level and snug. Our measuring guide covers the five numbers in order.
- Between two sizes, size up. That is the house rule, and the reason is construction rather than flattery: ethnic wear is easier to take in than to let out.
- A difference of up to one inch between your measurement and the garment is within tolerance and is not a fault. Worth knowing before you measure a delivered blouse and conclude something is wrong.
Custom sizing is available on request and is the right answer for a body the chart does not fit. It is the wrong answer for uncertainty about which standard size to take, because a customised piece is not returnable at all — and in Saskatchewan, giving up the return is a bigger concession than it sounds.
What is safe to order blind, and what is not
The split is about how much ease the garment carries.
- Palazzo and kurta sets go wrong gently. The Sage Green Tonal Jewel Peplum Palazzo Set at CAD $135, which runs XS to 2XL, the Dusty Lavender Embroidered Palazzo Set and the Mocha Zari Embroidered Palazzo Set at the same price all have give through the waist and hip.
- Anarkalis are fitted only through the upper bodice. The Emerald Gold Embroidered Flared Anarkali Set and the Rani Mint Printed Anarkali Set, both CAD $135, flare from the waist, which is a far smaller target to miss than a stitched blouse.
- The deep-stock pieces are the ones a wrong size survives. The Cream Floral Print Sharara Suit at CAD $125 runs XXS to 4XL with hundreds of units behind it; the Grey Floral Printed Kurta Palazzo Set at CAD $125 and the Ivory Multicolor Sharara Set at CAD $125 are held in similar depth, and the Golden Noor Mirror Sharara Couture at CAD $155 carries the widest size run in the range. If the replacement size has to still be there in three weeks, buy from this group.
- Menswear is forgiving and cheap to get right. The Royal Yellow Heritage Kurta Set and the Sage Mughal Heritage Kurta Set are CAD $105 and run XS to 3XL. Both sit under the free-shipping threshold, so order two or add something.
What not to order blind: stitched blouses, corset bodices, pre-draped sarees and anything bridal. A pre-draped saree such as the Teal Embroidered Cape Draped Skirt Set at CAD $155 is a lovely thing to own and is not returnable, which in a province with no fitting room makes it a piece to buy on a confirmed measurement or not at all.
One clock detail, because Saskatchewan does not move
Saskatchewan stays on Central Standard Time all year and does not observe daylight saving. From March to early November that leaves the province an hour behind Toronto, and through the winter it matches. Practically, that means the window for a sizing conversation shifts under you: in wedding season the Brampton shop's day is your day, and in summer it closes an hour earlier than your clock suggests. If you are sending measurements, send them in the morning.
Timing for wedding season
Ontario and prairie wedding season runs November 2026 through February 2027. Working backwards from a function, and allowing for the fact that a size swap is a three-week round trip rather than an afternoon: eight weeks is comfortable, six weeks is sensible, four weeks works only if the measurement is confirmed first, and inside two weeks you are buying what exists in your size and keeping it. Ordering early matters more here than anywhere else in the country, because the thing that runs out is not the price but the size.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy Indian clothes in Saskatoon or Regina?
For a deep current-season occasion-wear rail, by ordering. Canada's Indian and Pakistani occasion-wear retail is concentrated in the Greater Toronto Area and Surrey, with Calgary and Edmonton next. Standard delivery to Saskatchewan is four to six business days after one to two days of processing, free above CAD $125.
How much is shipping to Saskatchewan?
Standard is CAD $25 and free above CAD $125; express is CAD $29.99 flat. Tax is charged on the delivery address, so Saskatchewan pays 6% PST plus 5% GST rather than Ontario's 13% HST.
What happens if the size is wrong?
You have seven days from delivery to initiate a return and seven more to post it back, with return postage on you and the refund issued as store credit rather than to your card. There are no direct exchanges, so the replacement is a new order. Allow three weeks end to end, and note that with one unit per size the size you need may be gone by then.
How do I avoid getting the size wrong?
Send your bust, waist and hip measurements and the piece you are considering, by WhatsApp or email, and ask which size to take before ordering. If you are between two sizes, size up.
Is custom sizing a good idea at this distance?
Only if the chart genuinely does not fit your body. Custom-sized pieces cannot be returned, so choosing custom to resolve uncertainty replaces a three-week problem with a permanent one.
How far ahead should I order for a wedding?
Six to eight weeks. Four weeks is workable if you have confirmed the size with us first. Inside two weeks, order from the deep-stock pieces and plan to keep what arrives.
